In honour of Château Beauregard Ducasse’s founder, Albert Duran, this is the name that Jacques Perromat chose to give to this cuvée spéciale Graves red wine, which is aged in oak barrels and produced from a plot selection of our best vines.
Blend: this vintage emerged from a 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot grape blend.
Vinification: hand-picked harvests to perpetrate the family tradition, complete destemming, cold soak pre-fermentation to enhance the aromatic potential, temperature checks of the fermentations, 20 to 30 days long vatting periods. This vintage is aged for 12 months, exclusively in French oak barrels to enhance the wine’s complexity and guarantee that it best reflects our terroir.
