Château d’Armajan des Ormes

Château d’Armajan des Ormes is located in the village of Preignac, at the very heart of the Sauternes appellation.

Assembly: this vintage emerged from a 70% Semillon, 25% Sauvignon and 5% Muscadelle grape blend.

Winemaking: hand-picked harvests in 5 successive and selective pickings, gravity-fed wine press and pressing is completed in a bladder press (this avoids premature oxidation and enhances aroma expression), slow fermentation processes in low capacity stainless steel vats (separate vinifications for each plot, which enable us to select the best batches for Château d’Armajan), aging in barrels for between 18 to 24 months adds complexity to this incredible Sauternes
